Mr. Soper is currently president of Willowbend Pharma Select , an FDA 503B specialty supplier of high quality pharmaceuticals focused on wellness.

Additionally, Mr. Soper consults and guides small businesses on growth and operational strategies to help build shareholder value. During his career, Mr. Soper has served in a number of “C” suite positions in banking, publishing, and specialty pharmacy.

Mr. Soper spent part of his career in consulting and private equity and served as CEO of two portfolio companies of National Financial Companies – a specialty pharmacy and a commercial finance company.

He has served on the boards of both national and state-chartered banks as well as the Florida Atlantic University Foundation where he was chair of the audit committee. Mr. Soper received a BA from Hobart College and an MBA from Babson College.

Basil Raad, R.Ph. is a seasoned pharmacy executive and licensed pharmacist with more than 35 years of leadership experience spanning sterile compounding, 503B outsourcing facility operations, pharmaceutical business development, regulatory compliance, and healthcare strategy.

As Pharmacist-in-Charge at Willowbend Pharma Select, Basil leads the strategic development and day-to-day operations of the company’s FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facility, specializing in high-quality sterile injectable wellness products. He oversees supplier partnerships, and cross-functional teams dedicated to delivering safe, reliable pharmaceutical solutions to healthcare providers and patients.

Throughout his career, Basil has successfully built and launched multiple pharmacy operations, including sterile compounding and ophthalmic outsourcing facilities, while holding executive leadership roles with organizations such as OCuSOFT, Walgreens, Cardinal Healthcare, and US Pain & Spine Institute. His expertise includes facility startup, cleanroom design, regulatory readiness, supply chain strategy, cost optimization, and pharmacy program growth.

Basil is recognized for combining deep clinical pharmacy knowledge with strong operational and business leadership to help organizations scale responsibly while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Yadira Bonano Marquez is the Vice President of Quality at Willowbend Pharma Select, bringing over 24 years of extensive experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology quality assurance. Her career spans across clinical and commercial sites, with a profound expertise in GLPs, cGMPs, and regulatory requirements. Yadira’s robust background includes working in aseptic manufacturing environments, monoclonal antibody therapy, cell and gene therapy, and drug substance and product processes.

Her prior roles include Quality Assurance Manager at Lonza Biologics, where she played a pivotal role in batch record reviews, deviations, CAPAs, and regulatory inspections. At XBiotech, as Senior Manager of Quality Assurance, she led validation and commissioning activities for a new biotechnology facility and managed the calibration program, while providing oversight of the Aseptic Manufacturing Operations to ensure regulatory compliance.

Yadira’s career began at the Quality Control department followed by various roles in Validation and Commissioning, where she contributed significantly to development and implementation of GMP Manufacturing and Packaging equipment and processes.  Her expertise also extends to Microbiology, with hands-on experience in sterility tests, environmental monitoring, and lab operations.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico. Yadira’s technical prowess is complemented by her skills in technical writing, documentation, and quality management systems. Her commitment to regulatory compliance and process improvement has been a cornerstone of her career, making her a key asset to Willowbend Pharma Select.
